Click or tap two matching free tiles. A tile is free when nothing sits on it and its left or right side is open. Keyboard: Tab to a free tile, Enter takes it, H hint, S shuffle, U undo, Esc lets go.
Free mahjong solitaire, with a new board every day
Ryuko's Mahjong is mahjong solitaire, the tile-matching game: take matching tiles two at a time until the board is clear. Play the classic Turtle with 144 tiles, or the Pyramid, Twin Peaks and Pagoda layouts, free in your browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer.
How to play
A tile is free when no tile lies on top of it and it has an open side on the left or the right. Pick two free tiles with the same picture and they leave the board. Plan ahead: the tiles you take decide which ones open up next.
Every board can be cleared
Each board is built backwards from an empty table, so there's always a way to clear it. If you take a wrong turn, Undo puts tiles back, Hint shows a pair that keeps the board clearable, and Shuffle deals the tiles that are left again so they can still all be cleared.
